Ezra is named after the biblical figure, a Jewish scribe and teacher who was instrumental in preserving and communicating Scripture after the Babylonian exile (see Ezra 7:6, 10). At Ezra, we carry on that tradition in a modern way, helping pastors, preachers, and communicators preserve their messages through written form. Like the original Ezra, we’re devoted to clarity, accuracy, and honoring the voice of the speaker.
Is transcribing sermons an authentic way to write content or a book?
Yes! In fact, sermon transcription has a long, honored tradition dating back centuries. Many beloved Christian books were originally spoken messages: Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis began as a series of WWII-era radio broadcasts. The Cost of Discipleship by Dietrich Bonhoeffer is based on sermons and lectures. Transcribing sermons into print is not new, it’s biblical, historical, and incredibly impactful.
Does Ezra use AI?
Yes. For the general Ezra content, we use AI to generate all materials. For larger more taylored projects, we have a team of professional editors and copywriters who review and edit final drafts.
How long does the process take?
Upload your sermon audio. Ezra transcribes, edits, and formats your message. Receive 7 fully designed Bible study guides in 3-5 minutes. Distribute to your congregation, small groups, or online community.
What if I only have audio recordings?
That’s all we need. Whether it’s a YouTube video, podcast, livestream, or sermon audio, we can turn it into a powerful written work. If you have transcripts already, we can work with those too.
Will the final edit sound like me?
Yes, and that’s our goal. While AI helps with structure and flow, Ezra was engineered to ensure that your tone, personality, and theological integrity come through clearly in every chapter.
